A colorful jeepney makes a stop as a tricycle goes the other way at the roadside wet market in the remote town of Real, in Quezon Province, the Philippines. Once a ghetto suburb of Infanta, this city was nearly wiped out in December 2005 by a trio of typhoons that struck the area. Because of illegal tree cutting in the mountains above, mudslides helped cause the death and/or disappearance of nearly 500 people.
