As of April 2020, there were a total of 114 Level 3 hospitals (the highest level) in the Philippines with the majority of them located in Metro Manila. A Level 3 hospital includes accredited residency training for physicians in the four major specialties: Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Surgery.
